He shouldn't have told his sister. Res regretted it. why couldn't he just tell her to come with him. But, no, he had to tell her. And then she said ahe was late for a party and Mom drove her there. One minute. No chance. None at all. He was going to die like the rest of the world. But then he heard it. A sound. Faint, but it was there.
